Well, we all came home from work last night to Christopher Avenue shut off and no water in our homes. I don't know what time the work crew started digging, but they had a big hole in the street at 5:30 when I got home. The water came back on about 8 p.m.
Anyone want to put a wager on when they will come back and finish the job?

I don't know, but i do bet that it will be before anyone else posts to this blog besides you and me.

I love Mt. Westfield! The sound of the water for those two weeks lulled me to sleep at night. I felt like I was in a beautiful garden (if I had my eyes shut). Considering how long the leak went on, I am surprised at the short time it took to take care of it. I pulled up when the truck was getting ready to leave and the guy told us he had only just received a work order for this the day before. He couldn't believe it had been gushing for two weeks.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL WESFIELDIANS.
I (heart) city life!
ReplyDeleteWell written article.
